Paige was walking around Hogsmeade when she heard people talking about the Shrieking Shack.
"Yeah, there has been screams coming from there," a lady said to a gentleman, "It seems to happen every full moon. What it is, no one knows since everyone is scared to go look.
"I told my kids never to go up there," replied the gentleman, "It is dangerous. And you're correct about the screams. There always appear with a full moon."
The lady and gentleman walked off. Tonight was the full moon. Paige wanted to know what had cause the Hogsmeade village people so scared of the Shrieking Shack. She had heard rumors of it being haunted, but would have never imagined it to be every Full Moon.
She walked up the winding path to get to the Shrieking Shack. It looked normal to her. She looked around her to make sure no one was near before she jumped the fence. She walked up to the house. She took in all the fine detail done to the house. She walked up the front steps and opened the front door.
She entered the house looking around her. Everything was covered in white sheets and a thick layer of dust. She looked up the stairs and started to climb. She walked cautiously into a room. All the furniture around the room was scratched up or torn.
Paige spotted a slash in one of the drawers. She traced her hand over the marking. The feeling of the mark was familiar to her. The touch had sent goosebumps throughout her whole body and make the hairs of her neck stand up.
'A Werewolf made this mark,' she thought, 'But that can't be. I am the only one at Hogwarts, as far as I know. No one else could be in the same situation as I am.'
Paige withdrew her hand from the mark. Her breathing had started to become irregular. The moon was approaching fast. She brought her hand up to her head trying to block the pain coursing through her body. She heard a sound behind her. She turned quickly to see a person staring at her. Who they were, she did not know.
