Paige walked out of Hogwarts with Kyra. Paiged looked across the grounds. Again she appricated everything that was around her, like she had done countless times before hand. Headmaster Dumbledore had given her the oppertunity to be like everyone else despite racial views about Werewolves in the Magical World. She knew that after she left Hogwarts, the Magical World would view her as a Werewolf, not a witch. It would make her life difficult for her, her husband, and children. Especially for the children if they were to inherit her trait.
She turned back to Kyra and smiled. She twirled around.
"Finally," she said, "I hate being cooped up in that castle. I love being outside."
Paige sat down on the ground and another song came into her head. She smiled and began to sing again, feeling more comfortable about doing it in front of Kyra.
Mississippi in the middle of a dry spell
Jimmy Rogers on the Victrola up high
Mama's dancin' with baby on her shoulder
The sun is settin' like molasses in the sky
The boy could sing, knew how to move, everything
Always wanting more, he'd leave you longing for
Chorus:
Black velvet and that little boy's smile
Black velvet with that slow southern style
A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees
Black velvet if you please
Up in Memphis the music's like a heatwave
White lightening, bound to drive you wild
Mama's baby's in the heart of every school girl
"Love me tender" leaves 'em cryin' in the aisle
The way he moved, it was a sin, so sweet and true
Always wanting more, he'd leave you longing for
Chorus:
Black velvet and that little boy's smile
Black velvet with that slow southern style
A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees
Black velvet if you please
Every word of every song that he sang was for you
In a flash he was gone, it happened so soon, what could you do?
(Solo)
Chorus: (x2)
Black velvet and that little boy's smile
Black velvet with that slow southern style
A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees
Black velvet if you please
Black velvet and that little boy's smile
Black velvet with that slow southern style
A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees
Black velvet if you please
If you please, if you please, if you please
"Sorry," Paige smiled, "Normally when I am out here I usually end up with a song in my head and I start to sing it immediately."
