Sitting alone Harmony felt that she was at peace with the Wizarding World. She was up in the Astronomy Tower watching the stars as they twinkled and shined forming the formations of known and unknown constellations in the sky. Every now and again she would see a shooting star or an eclipse of the moon, but she had not seen one yet tonight. She also saw no planets in the distant sky. Nothing was eventful tonight accept the changing of the zodiac. Leo was to change into Virgo tonight around 11:47.
Harmony continued to look at the stars before pulling out a notebook and began to write a small poem about the heavens.
In my summer yard at night squinting up at tiny eyes of light, winking I'm thinking there must be somewhere, another lonely boy Staring back from the galaxy's end Wishing on his star for a friend.
Next to the poem she draws a picture of a guy that she has only seen in her dreams. She closed up her notebook and put it away. She peered out the window and looked across the Hogwarts' Grounds before turning back to watch the stars dance among the night sky.

Peter walked up to the tower silently, trying to get some alone time before going back to his Common Room to be ignored, yet again. He walked up and walked into the room but froze when he saw someone else there. Should I leave? Does she want to be alone? He thought nervously. Will she ignore me like the others always do?

Harmony had heard someone come into the room. She looked towards the door and gave a slight smile.
"You're more then welcome to join," she said, "I don't bite compared to some other Slytherins in my house."
She turned back to look out the window and sighed.

"Thank you," Peter said softly, walking towards the window where she sat. He wanted to make conversation, to talk to her, but he was too shy, beaten and emotionally bruised from the endless - and supposedly harmless - teasing from Sirius and James. They didn't mean to make him this way, and he knew that. But it did hurt.

"Thy name is Harmony, Harmony Walker," Harmony replied, "Sixth year Slytherin at your service. And no, I am not like most Slytherins are said to be. I am what one could call the Slytherin Sweetheart since I don't like to participate in what my housemates deem proper conduct for a Slytherin."

"Peter Pettigrew. I'm one of the Marauders although I doubt you'll have heard of me since I'm outshined by Sirius, James and Remus," he sighed. "And this is the most I've talked for weeks."

"No," Harmony, "I heard of all the Marauders, including you. In my opinion, you and Remus are the only sweethearts of the four. James and Sirius need a serious wake call to life, but I have noticed that Lily Evans does that for James. As for Sirius, some girl really needs to strike his fancy and she needs to deny him right on the spot and keep doing it. I believe you and Remus are more level headed, than those two manic cases. No offense to you, since you are their friend." Harmony pulled out her notebook and began to sketch his face. "You are really photogentic," she smiled as she showed him the picture, "One of the few in this school that I have drawn for fun. So what do you like to do when you're not around with the oh so famous Marauders?"

"Don't tell Sirius or James this since they don't know, but I read. Remus helped me find some good books and I spend most of my time in the library now," he said, blushing at the picture. "I believe that one girl did turn him down... I think her name was Angel, but I'm not too sure. He needs to stop playing with the girls. They're people, not objects to toy with. Well, that's my opinion anyway. And I think that's Remus' opinion, too."

"Pardon my term, but Sirius is what a girl like me might call a 'Pig' or known to most women as a 'Manwhore.' Those type of men will always end up alone," I said, "As for being up in the Library, I absolutely love the Library. I love to read about anything and everything. It is a way to get away from the people, who take you for granted and don't know the real you. A place where your able to be yourself without being made fun of or judged."

"I agree," Peter smiled, a real smile. Not one of the forced ones he was so used to smiling. "The Library is a wonderful place, you get taken away from the war and the torture of this world and into a perfect one somewhere far away."

"Yeah," Harmony agreed, "A place of pureness and everything is calm and collective. Maybe we can meet up there some time to get away from the war and the people at this school."
Harmony returned her notebook back in her bag.
"So what other things are you into beside reading at the library?" she asked, "Do you like to play Quidditch or going swimming in the Lake?

"I would like to meet up there," Peter replied, somewhat shyly. Not his usual shy, either. This was a whole new shy, and a frightening one at that.
"I can't play Quidditch to save my life, unfortunately, but I love swimming. One of the few active things I can do and do somewhat well. What about you?"

"I like to fly and swim. My father taught me how to fly," Harmony replied, "The only problem is that guys in my house are so sexist and believe that Pure-blood girls like me should be worrying about how we act / look around them and cator to their every request. I'm sorta the outcast of Slytherin since I don't follow their rules. I could care less though about them anyhow."

Peter smiled. "I can understand that. I don't have any girl friends to relate you to, I'm afraid," he said, turning pink when he realised what he said. "I mean friends that are girls, not girl friends! I'm single and not a player and I'm going to stop now..."

Harmony gave a small laugh finishing with a smile at Peter.
"I knew what you meant," she replied, "By context, of course. You don't have to stop talking either. I am really enjoying our conversation. We seem to have a lot in common with each other. Both of us are taken for granted by people and made fun of because we follow a different path then them."

Peter nodded, knowing she was right. "You're right. I like talking to you, too. We have a lot more in common than people would think. Sirius would kill me if he knew I was talking to you, though. He'd say 'why are you talking to a gorgeous girl? That's my job!' Or something along those lines."

"I'll will tell you this much Peter," Harmony said sweetly, "Hypotheticly, you would have a better chance on asking me out than Sirius. And I truly mean that. I wouldn't go anywhere near Sirius, even if someone dared me or paid me to."
Harmony turned to look out the window mainly to hide the redness in her cheeks. Every word she had said was true. She would never talk with Sirius. She would rather talk with Peter or even Remus, but mainly Peter since they were similar in certain respects.

"Only hypothetically?" He asked, turning to look at what she was. He couldn't help himself, he turned to her, turned her face to his and kissed her lightly.

Harmony was so surprized at what he had done, but was happy that he had done it.
"Well," she whispered, "When you put it like that, there is no room to assume that it would be hypothetical."

Peter smiled, actually happy for once in his life. He leaned forward and kissed her again, still lightly. He hadn't the courage to do anything else.

When Peter kissed her for the second time, Harmony kissed him back softly. This was something new to her. She didn't know what to expect since this kiss was really her first kiss. She was glad that it was with him. Harmony pulled back seconds later and looked towards the ground. Her cheeks she guessed were probably bright red.

Peter blushed, looking down as well. "Sorry if it was terrible, it was my first kiss," he said softly, making himself turn even more red.

"I wouldn't really know," she replied, "That was my first kiss as well. If it is any encourgement, I thought you did really good."
Harmony placed her hand on top on his hand. She gave a smile towards him. She had really nothing to say. She wanted to kiss him again, but didn't want to push him away.

Peter smiled slightly. "You were good, too. I'm sorry if I was forward. I didn't mean to be. I just couldn't help it."

"Everyone has their weaknesses," Harmony said, "It is better to let them show then hide them. As for being forward, there is nothing wrong with that in this case. Now if that would have be Sirius, I would have slapped him right away, but I don't mind when someone like you Peter do something like that. I am actually quite impressed and glad that you were forward with me."
Harmony knew her cheeks were defenately red now, but she didn't hid it from him this time. She looked straight at his eyes.

Peter smiled widely and kissed her, yet again, only it was slightly deeper than last time.

Harmony was pulled into another kiss. This kiss though held a little bit more confidence than the last two. Harmony felt that she should also step up alittle bit. She entwined her fingers with his and closed the distance between them. Her kiss was matching his in intensity.

Peter gained the confidence he needed with her actions and ran his tongue along her bottom lip slowly. He suddenly became nervous again and quickly pulled away. "Sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have done that at all."

"Don't don't have to be nervous around me," Harmony said, "What you did was a normal reaction to what I did. There is no wrong in following something that is natural."
Harmony slowly moved herself closer to him again and let her lips touch his lightly.
'Every thing slow in due time,' she thought.

"Harmony... Will you be my girlfriend?" Peter asked softly, nervously, against her lips. We shouldn't be doing this. It's wrong if you aren't dating. You have to take things slowly, Peter.
