Paige walked up to the Astronomy Tower. It was late Monday evening. Her transformation was to take place tommorow night. She had intended on being alone since no one really came up here this late at night or early morning, depending on how one would look at it.
She opened the door slowly, peering in to make sure no one was in the Tower. No one was and she gave a slight smile. She walked over to the window and sat down on its ledge. She looked up towards the night sky. The first thing that caught her hazel eyes was the nearly full moon. Her gave a shiver and her breathing became staggarded. She shook the feeling and looked away.
Calming her aching body, she looked at the various constellations. She identified Orion, Major Ursa, Minor Ursa, and O'Ryan's Belt. Then she found the North Star. She studied this star and how intensely bright it was compared to the others. She gave a small sigh and saw a shooting star fly by. She closed her eyes and said a muggle nursery rhyme.'Star Light Star bright, The first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have the wish I wish tonight.' She opened her Hazel eyes. Barely above a whisper she made her wish.
"I wish I had someone, who knows what I am truly going through. Someone, who would be able to understand me on a eye-to-eye base."
She gave a slight smiling knowing that what she had just done was childish, but it put her at ease, for now. She continued to look out the window looking at the nearly full moon every now and again.

I walked out onto the Astronomy Tower, intending to glare at the nearly full moon, but saw a girl sitting on the window ledge. "Oh- erm- hello." I said softly to her.

Paige turned slowly to see a guy in the door way. "Hello," she whispered back, "I am sorry, I was just looking at the near full moon and stars. They are lovely tonight, except for the moon that is. It is more of a curse in my view, not that you would think that, I'm sure."
'I sound like an idoit,' she thought.

I laughed slightly. "Actually, I do. More than you probably know."

"I highly doubt that," Paige smiled, "Your not the one, who ended up saving your little 3 year old sister's life when you were 9 years old from a Werewolf after coming back from a party with family, only to suffer the pains of a full moon every month after receiving the bite for protecting her."

Both of my eyebrows shot up. "Are you serious?" I asked.

"Look, it is something that I don't regret," Paige replied in a serious tone,"She could have died that night if I didn't take the bite for her, but it is a thing that I wish never happened to me. Sneaking out of the school on a full moon just to run wild in the Forbidden Forest, not being able to eat or get enough sleep during the week of the full moon."
Paige looked out upon the grounds. She saw the Fobidden Forest in the distance.

I looked at her curiously, then said, "I was bitten when I was four by Fenrir Greyback, as compensation for an insult my father served him."

"I am sorry to here that," Paige said, "We both are very much alike, yet very different. I am Paige, by the way, Paige Hallows."

I smiled at her. "Remus Lupin. And I can't tell you how happy I am to meet another...shall I say 'civilized', werewolf."

"It is nice to know that I am not alone either," Paige smiled, "It is good to have someone who understands. So apart from the Moon, what things do you like to do? I spend most of my time in the Library. I love to read and it is a good place for thought."

I smiled. "I love reading, too. And knowledge. Dad always says I should've been in Ravenclaw, but somehow I ended up in Gryffindor."

"I am a Ravenclaw," Paige smiled, "My father was a Gryffindor. He is a Pure-blood, my mother is muggle."

"Yeah," Paige smiled, "Let call it that."

I chuckled. "Yeah, Dumbledore and my parents know, and my best friends know. James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. Actually...." I looked at her, at the full moon, and over towards where the Gryffindor Tower is, then back at her. "They're all unregistered Animagi. They transform during the full moon, and come with me into the Shrieking Shack. You can come with us tomorrow, if you'd like."

"I don't know," Paige replied, "I have met Peter and he knows, but I don't know Sirius or James. I don't want to cause them more trouble than they already have with watching you so you don't hurt yourself. It wouldn't be fair to them to have to watch two of us. Someone could get hurt."

I looked down. "Never thought of it like that. I just figured that if we were in the shreiking shack, you'd have to be somewhere else, and the Shack is the safest place I can think of for a - a werewolf."

"I am sorry Remus," Paige replied, "But I don't wanna risk hurting your friends or you. I think I'll just run freely deep within the Forbidden Forrest. The Full Moon tomorrow will be a dangerous one. It will appear three hours earlier than normal, so it will be out during dinner in the Great Hall. Make sure to alert your friends."
